SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION
Rev. Amoako welcomed the congregation to church, particularly to the Young People’s Aseda thanksgiving Service and introduced the theme for the sermon as “Give thanks to God in all things”.
BODY
Luke 17:12-19 – “As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us! When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed”

⁃        The lepers were not enjoying their congregation, so they sought healing from Jesus when He was passing.

⁃        Though, it was taboo for lepers to go among people, they kept moving on Jesus’ instructions in the hope of being cleansed for the Priest to declare them whole again to join the community (Lev. 14 and Numbers 19).

⁃        Keep walking!!! Keep moving no matter the issue; Keep walking no matter the health issue; Keep walking no matter the economic issues.

1.     God always challenges the status quo and all we need is faith to walk with Him.

2.     The miracle was in as they were moving or walking (Ruth 1)

“One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” The scripture teaches us that:

⁃        The one thing that perfects our healing is our thanksgiving.

⁃        The one who came back to Christ is a testament that our one-tenth (tithe) is for the Lord our master.

⁃        If our finances would go to God or be used as an instrument of worship this day then we will be whole again.

⁃        Our shout offering is a form of worship, puts fear in the enemy and is as a symbol that our God is in our midst

CONCLUSION
Brethren, keep walking no matter the situation.   Amen
