HISTORY OF MOUNT OLIVET METHODIST GUILD
To God be the Glory, Great things He has done.
The Mount Olivet Methodist Guild was started at the Mount Olivet Methodist Church

developing with the springing up of more buildings. It became necessary to create a forum for young people to be trained to be effective wings of the Church. Some few brethren under the instrumentality of the late Opayin R.J. Sam, Brother Kofi Antobam and Sister Comfort Mensah, Comfort Ackom and Mercy Hammond formed the nuclus of the Guild.
By the close of 1978, the new Guild had taken a firm root with a total membership of 48

There were regular weekly meetings at which members were prepared for task ahead as a youth organisation from which the future leaders, officers and workers of the church would emerge.
